Plans, boundaries and surfaces — the cadastral file

Where the land registry says who owns, the cadastre says where exactly: boundaries, surfaces, buildings, coordinates. Architects, notaries and boundary disputes live on these documents — we retrieve them from the cantonal surveying offices.

Questions about this document

What’s the difference between land registry and cadastral extract?
The land registry states rights (ownership, servitudes, mortgages); the cadastre states geometry (boundaries, surfaces, buildings). Transactions and disputes usually need both — we can deliver them together.
Can you get the public-law restrictions (PLR) extract?
Yes — the PLR cadastre extract listing zoning, protection areas and other restrictions is available for most cantons and is a standard part of project sets.
Do you deliver digital plans?
Where offices issue them, yes — certified paper plus PDF is the usual combination for architects and notaries.
